How permanent eyebrow shaping works
Electrolysis treats one hair at a time. A very fine probe slides into the natural opening of the hair follicle, a tiny current treats the root, and the loosened hair lifts out without pulling. A treated follicle stops growing that hair.
Because each hair is chosen by hand, Ramya decides with you which hairs belong to your brow and which do not. Nothing is removed in bulk, so the shape stays natural and soft.
Designed for your face, not copied from a trend
Brows that have been threaded for years are often thin or uneven. Ramya first lets the brow grow so she can see its full natural line, then plans a shape that suits your features. One client came to her after 20 years of threading had thinned her brows; over four months of periodic sessions the brows grew back fuller and the shape is now permanent.
What to expect
- A consultation first: Ramya looks at your brows, explains the process and answers your questions.
- Short, regular sessions over a few months. Hair grows in cycles, so each session catches the hairs that are growing then.
- A slight warm or pinching feeling at each hair. Most clients describe it as very manageable; many say painless.
- A little redness right after, which usually settles within hours.
- Results that last. Ramya's clients from 2005 and 2011 still have the shape she gave them.
Electrolysis or microblading?
They do different jobs. Microblading adds pigment strokes to make brows look fuller and fades over time. Electrolysis removes unwanted hair permanently to give a clean shape. Some people use both: electrolysis for the shape, makeup or microblading for density.
